About This Blog

This blog is the gallery of logicsmith Grant Fikes (AKA mathgrant, AKA me, AKA myself, AKA I). As a longtime fan of Nikoli, a Japanese publisher of logic puzzles, most of my puzzles are inspired by theirs, particularly by how their puzzles are so delightfully crafty at times, and so wonderfully beautiful at others. These are the qualities that I attempt to emulate in my own puzzles; as a result, they are sometimes a little different from many other logic puzzles. I hope you enjoy them! :)

HELPFUL FEATURES:
* Don't know the rules of a puzzle? Every puzzle has a link to the rules right above the image, so help is a click away!
* Is the image too small and grainy? Blogger shrinks large images down automatically; when the text "(click to enlarge)" appears above a picture, click the picture to view an enlarged and less grainy version which is more appropriate for printing or for pasting into an image editor.
* Do you like a particular genre of puzzle? Click the Labels below a post or at the bottom of the blog to see all the puzzles of a particular genre; for example, the label "Pearls of Wisdom" will allow you to see just Pearls of Wisdom puzzles.
* Overwhelmed by how many puzzles there are on this blog? Here are two lists to help you out; one list contains the puzzles I like the most, and the other list contains the puzzles I think are the easiest. My recommendation is to start with the puzzles on these lists.

* copy and paste these puzzles into your preferred image editor, and solve them there
