Nice one! I will often start solving a puzzle in the top left; this time I ended there.

And here I thought Hitori was as bad as it was going to get. (Where Is Black Cells is my absolute least favorite Nikoli genre, based almost entirely on the fact that I can never figure out where to begin the puzzle. I actually skip it entirely now when I buy one of their books.)

Blaine: Thanks for the kind words. I love it when I get kind words, especially from someone who trains Fire-type Pokemon. :)

Anonymous: I'm the opposite -- I was very disappointed when they stopped publishing 25x25 Where is Black Cells / Kurodoko puzzles in Puzzle the Giants. Kurodoko is not nearly as evil as Hitori, which has a crapload of noise in it, making the deductions harder to find (unnecessarily so in the eyes of critics). Kurodoko is generally far easier to solve, especially if you're well-versed in Heyawake (Room and Reason) and Bag (The Inner Limits). Feel free to email me, and I'll give you some tips on how to start this one.

Just been going through all the puzzles that are unfamiliar to me, and I must say I love this genre. It combines the logic used in 2 of my favorite types! :) This big one was especially fun, thanks.
