I'VE BEEN PUBLISHED IN GAMES WORLD OF PUZZLES!
A few of my readers who are subscribed to Games World of Puzzles inform me that a Hex Pathfinder puzzle authored by yours truly has been published in the September 2016 issue (which has not yet hit store shelves). Unfortunately, I must also report an ERRATUM: the direction on clue 20NW should be 20NE. This mistake is entirely my fault, although I am a tad disappointed that the editorial staff let it slip through. I hope you will consider buying a copy of the September 2016 issue of Games World of Puzzles, as it contains a number of puzzles written by some very intelligent people (in addition to myself) who will appreciate the support.

WORDY WEDNESDAY #115
PENT WORDS 23
In this puzzle, you must divide the grid into pentominoes (regions containing five cells each), and write a letter in each cell. The rows, reading from left to right, will contain the words hinted at by the ACROSS clues. The letters in the pentominoes, in reading order (left to right starting with the top row), will form the words hinted at by the PENTOMINOES clues; these clues are presented in no particular order. (In the example below, the rows spell PLANT, SHARE, and BITES, and the pentominoes spell the words PLANS, TREES, and HABIT.) Use the ACROSS answers to determine where the pentominoes are.
ACROSS (two answers per row):
1 ____ doctor / Three- or four-leafed item
2 Coffee shop offering / Slants
3 Name famously shouted by William Shatner / Dog voiced by Bill Melendez
4 Consume / Guernica painter
