Puzzle 610: Polyominous 55

This puzzle was written for P. Kellach Waddle (GustavMahler) of BoardGameGeek, who recently won some of my possessions in an auction and paid enough to also have a custom puzzle written for him. Given the eclectic range of his interests (including a major presence in the Austin classical music scene, whose existence I am only now aware of), a single puzzle can't really do him justice; nonetheless, I hope that seeing his initials in this puzzle somehow makes his participation in my auction a little more worthwhile. :)

Monday Mutant 120: Polyominous / Tetra Firma

In this Polyominous puzzle, the rule that no two polyominoes of the same size may share an edge is specifically waived for tetrominoes, which must follow the rules of Tetra Firma (excluding the rule that every region contains a single tetromino). The number 4 never appears as a given in the grid; instead, the letters L, I, T, and S are given, corresponding to the shape of the tetromino.
I thought I clicked tomorrow's date. . . bah. You get this puzzle early.

In the past, I have plugged my board game Battle of LITS, which uses the LITS rules to create an original two-player game. Battle of LITS is now available on nestorbooster! 500 euros in pre-orders within the next month will allow Battle of LITS to become the next nestorgames publication! Without your pre-orders, though, this dream of mine will not happen. I hope you choose to help me get published with a meager 21 euro investment (which will be refunded if the funding fails). :)

Monday Mutant 119: Polyominous / Tetra Firma

In this Polyominous puzzle, the rule that no two polyominoes of the same size may share an edge is specifically waived for tetrominoes, which must follow the rules of Tetra Firma (excluding the rule that every region contains a single tetromino). The number 4 never appears as a given in the grid; instead, the letters L, I, T, and S are given, corresponding to the shape of the tetromino.

Fillomino-Fillia 2 Preview Series: Skyscraper Fillomino

This is a skyscraper Fillomino (AKA Polyominous). The numbers in the grid should be treated as building heights. Numbers on the outside of the grid tell how many buildings are visible when looking from that direction. A building obscures all buildings behind it whose height is equal to or smaller than itself.

Fillomino-Fillia 2 Preview Series: Walls Fillomino

This is a walls Fillomino (AKA Polyominous). A pair of cells with a thick border between them must contain different numbers.

Fillomino-Fillia 2 Preview Series: Sum Fillomino

March Mutant 16: Polyominous / Quad-Wrangle (non-consecutive)

In this Polyominous puzzle, every region must be shaped like a rectangle. (Thus, the puzzle is similar to a Quad-Wrangle puzzle, but without the restriction that every region must contain exactly one number, and with the restriction that regions with the same area may not share an edge.) Additionally, no two horizontally or vertically adjacent cells may contain two consecutive numbers.

In this Polyominous puzzle, the given numbers have been replaced by letters; all instances of a particular letter represent the same number, but two different letters must represent different numbers.

Logicsmith Exhibition 5: Polyominous (RESULTS!)

The deadline for voting in Logicsmith Exhibition 5 is past, and I have received 24 votes. Using my amazing ability to count, I have determined the winner of the contest! In this post, I will not only reveal that winner, but I will do something I have only really done once before in a Logicsmith Exhibition: I will be unafraid to give my honest opinion!

Disclaimer: In the past, I have divulged that I like Justin Bieber's "Baby" unironically. I have also watched an episode of the overtly Christian-themed "BibleMan", and somehow find myself liking its cheesiness both ironically and unironically. Clearly, my opinions on logic puzzles should be taken with more than a grain of salt – particularly seeing as the contest is more about reader opinion than my own.
