Monday Mutants is a series in which I will attempt to experiment with "mutant" puzzles. These could be existing puzzle types with an unusual change in the rules, hybrids combining elements from multiple puzzle types, or puzzle types neither invented nor popularized by Nikoli.
In this Polyominous puzzle, when the entire puzzle is filled with numbers, the darker shaded cells may only contain even numbers, and the lighter shaded cells may only contain odd numbers. The rules are otherwise unchanged.

In this Pearls of Wisdom puzzle, the loop may pass through a cell twice, but only if the loop goes straight through that cell both times, once horizontally and once vertically. If the loop passes through a white pearl twice, then it must obey the normal rules (by turning at one or both of the adjacent cells in the loop) both times. The rules are otherwise unchanged.

Monday Mutant 7: Blackbarrier Jam (multiples of 3)

In this Blackbarrier Jam puzzle, only multiples of 3 are shown. Circles without a number represent a number that isn't a multiple of 3. The rules are otherwise unchanged.

Puzzle 382: Fencing Match 38
Inspired by a construction by Bram de Laat. In this puzzle, all of the 0's and 2's are symmetrically opposite one another, and all of the 1's and 3's are symmetrically opposite one another. (This kind of symmetry would be very easy not to notice; it wouldn't surprise me if a Nikoli puzzle has managed to execute it without my being aware of it. :) )

Monday Mutant 6: Crowd Nine (consecutive)
Mutants is a series in which I will attempt to experiment with "mutant" puzzles. These could be existing puzzle types with an unusual change in the rules, hybrids combining elements from multiple puzzle types, or puzzle types neither invented nor popularized by Nikoli.
In this Crowd Nine puzzle, if a pair of horizontally or vertically adjacent cells contains two consecutive numbers, there will be a circle between them, and if a pair of horizontally or vertically adjacent cells contains two numbers that are not consecutive, there will not be a circle between them. The rules are otherwise unchanged.

Puzzle 379: Process of Illumination 28
In this Process of Illumination puzzle, the given numbers haven't been replaced by letters. Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing is for you to decide.

In this Process of Illumination puzzle, the given numbers have been replaced by letters; all instances of a particular letter represent the same number, but two different letters must represent different numbers. The rules are otherwise unchanged.
Two Monday Mutants this week? Really? Yes. Expect more weeks like this whenever I feel that it is appropriate. :)
